By list price, GstarCAD is cheaper. Both are perpetual licenses and DWG-native. ZWCAD 2026 runs on Windows; GstarCAD’s 2027 page states Windows, macOS and Linux support. ZWCAD offers a dedicated mechanical edition (MFG) and Smart Plot / Smart Match features. The best test is a one-week trial of both with your own drawings and LISP routines.
